Romania and Bulgaria, the newest Schengen members having joined on 31 March 2024, only have air and maritime borders open, with land border controls remaining in place still pending agreement to lift them in the future after about 13 years of waiting in the first place. I filmed this event just before midnight, as i landed on the last flight in to Romania that had passport controls. Due to camera and filming regulations at the airport border control, my camera was up my sleeve. I also simulated the FIDS as it would have been that night.
